Jeremiah Ellis is my great great great great grandfather.
Jeremiah ELLIS was born abt 1755, the son of Thomas ELLIS. In some records he is listed as Jeremiam.
On 21 September 1780 Jeremiah married Elizabeth KNIGHT, in Heathfield, Sussex, ENGLAND.
Elizabeth KNIGHT was born in Heathfield, Sussex, ENGLAND, abt 1759 according to census records.
Together Jeremiah and Elizabeth had the following two children: Thomas (1781->1861) and George (1787->1871). I am not aware of any other children at this point in time.
Elizabeth ELLIS died in 1817 in Heathfield, SUSSEX, ENGLAND, aged 79 years. She was buried in the Churchyard of the Heathfield Independent (Punnet Town), in SUSSEX, ENGLAND .
Jeremiah ELLIS died about 27 March 1835 in Heathfield, SUSSEX, ENGLAND, aged 79 years. The Register of Burials notes he was buried on 27 March 1837 in the Churchyard of the Heathfield Independent Church (Punnet Town), in SUSSEX, ENGLAND.
